Welcome the official WaterAware website. Here we will publish information about the project which was granted funds from HSB Living Lab for hosting a co-creation workshop on data driven eco-feedback to consumers on their water behavior.
Water is a renewable but limited resource, and the production, distribution and treatment of (waste)water require considerable input in terms of energy and infrastructure. Thus a wasteful consumer behavior is detrimental to the overall societal goal of resource effectiveness and limiting the environmental footprint of everyday consumption.
The purpose of the proposed co-creation workshop is to explore how if and how eco feedback could be designed and presented to the consumer to stimulate frugal water behavior. The target groups for the workshop are the tenants of HSB LL, and Chalmers students from different disciplines. The outcome of the workshop will be an innovative, data driven, prototype platform that will promote consumer water awareness and stimulate reduction in consumption.
